We had a customised 4night/5 day tour through Munnar and Thekkady. We had a fantastic time.
Our driver, Vipin, was excellent - he knew the windy roads well, took us to all the best sightseeing and was very friendly and fun. We went to all sorts of cool stops, but the highlights were definitely the two national parks. At the first, Eravikulam, we saw lots of endangered Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goats) perched high up in the beautiful misty mountains. We had two days at the second national park, Periyar. We went on a boat ride and also did a nature walk. We saw elephants both days, loads of monkeys, spiders, lizards, you name it. All along the drive the scenery of the tea gardens and hills was stunning. It is windy, so beware if you get motion sickness!

I had 7 amazing days travelling around Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, and Marari beach. The holiday plan was fully tailored to my needs, thanks to Saranya. All hotels had a very good standard. I never forget about breathtaking views from the balcony in Munnar and Thekkady. Moreover, I can highly recommend trekking in Munnar hillside as an additional activity. On the Pickadly houseboat, I could taste the most delicious traditional meal thanks to the great chef.
