Kochi Experience
Arrive at Kochi airport where one of our experienced tour guides will await your arrival to whisk you off on a historical experience of Fort Kochi. You will have the opportunity to check into your hotel to settle in before being taken on a tour of the historical town boasting architecturally design inspired homes and buildings from the colonial times. Kochi was previously colonized by the Dutch, British and Portuguese and their influence is noted throughout the quaint streets of this coastal town. You will have the opportunity to visit iconic sites such as Santa Cruz Basilica and the Spice Market that houses traditional Indian spices.

Day 2
Venture out to Munnar
After a restful night at your hotel in Kochi you will be treated to a mouth-watering breakfast that will fuel you for your journey to Munnar. As you venture on a four-hour journey from Kochi to Munnar, you will pass through Neriamangalam Bridge that overlooks Periyar river. Take the opportunity to absorb the natural surroundings featuring Valara Waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls.

Trek through the fields of Munnar
Munnar is a hilly town that is home to the highest peak in South India. It is famed by its tea plantations and tea estates that make up much of its economical attraction. You will be welcomed by dense natural greenery, manicured fields and mountains boasting eye-pleasing waterfalls. This mountainous region will be enjoyed by nature enthusiasts and outdoor lovers. Our experienced tour guide will take you to see the places like the rose garden, Echo Point and the Indo-Swiss Dairy farm.

Make your way to Thekkady
After breakfast, you will check-out of your hotel in Munnar and embark on a road trip to Thekkady where you will check in to a new resort. Thekkady is district known as being home to one of the finest wildlife regions in India. This region offers visitors the opportunity to the wilderness of Periyar Tiger Reserve, explore the flora and go boating on Periyar Lake.

Explore the flora and fauna of Thekkady
After breakfast, you will make your way to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary where you will be greeted by a wealth of wildlife species and inviting plant life that makes up the tropical forests of this region. Start off your tour experience with a visit to Elephant Junction where you will have the opportunity to get up close with these majestic animals. Go on a boat cruise at sunset, ending off the day with night’s rest in your comfortable room at the resort.

Check-In to a Houseboat in Alleppey
Brace yourself to spend a night on a houseboat in Alleppey. Depart the resort in Thekkady and set out to spend the night in a tropical region featuring rows of coconut trees, canals and the backwaters of Alleppey. Houseboats boast thatched roofs over wooden hulls which were once used to carry rice and spices. All your meals are fully inclusive.

After spending a night in a houseboat in Alleppey, you will be treated to a delicious breakfast before making your way to Kumarakom. We will visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and have an opportunity to spend the day at your resort taking in the scenery of the backwaters of Kerala.
