Day 1

Kochi Airport to Munnar

When you arrive at Kochi airport you will be received at the arrival terminal by our representative. We will proceed on a drive to Munnar and will stop in the waterfalls on the way. You can also stop at Neriamangalam bridge to watch Periyar river . Take pit stops on the Valara waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls on the way to Munnar . Check into the resort . Overnight stay at the resort in Munnar.

Day 2

Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, spend the day in local sightseeing in Munnar. Munnar drives its name from the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. Mattupetty is a popular picnic spot where you can opt for activities like boating and horse riding. Indo Swiss Dairy Farm is a little ahead of Mattupetty lake is famous for around 100 varieties of cattle. Close by is the Echo Point, which offers you a panoramic view and the thrill of hearing your voice echo. Popular sightseeing spots in Munnar that can be visited also include Poopara, Pothanmedu, Mattupetty Indo Swiss Project, Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay at the resort in Munnar.

Day 3

Munnar to Thekkady

After breakfast, checkout from the resort in Munnar and drive to Thekkady, on arrival check-in at the resort. Thekkady is well known for one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves -Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km and is well known for its wild life and scenic beauty. In You can opt for a cruise on Lake Periyar. During the boat ride spot the wild life (elephants, Indian Gaur, Monkeys, Spotted deer, barking deer and birds of myriad varieties). Overnight stay at the resort.

Thekkady to Kumarakom

Checkout from Thekkady and Proceed to Kumarakom to check into resort. it is one of the most exhilarating tourist place located on the Vembanad Lake. Surrounded with mangrove forests and coconut groves, Kumarakom is the center for houseboat Cruises and provides sightseeing experiences that are truly breathtaking. Day 5

Kumarakom to Alleppey (Houseboat)

 

After breakfast check out from the resort in Kumarakom and proceed to Alleppey. Starting from Alleppey we will take you through sights of paddy fields made from Lake during the ruling of King and here cultivation happens below sea level) and will pass through multiple backwater canals and return back to Alleppey. Enjoy the scenes in a Kerala country side in a backwater cruise -skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes and swaying coconut palms. Overnight stay at houseboat.

Day 6

Alleppey (Houseboat) to Kovalam

After breakfast, checkout from Alleppey Houseboat and proceed to Kovalam. Arrival and transfer to beach resort in Kovalam. Relax in the resort and in evening visit the famous Kovalam beach, light house beach etc. Kovalam Beach was among the most prominent tourist spots in India during the hippy era. There are three beaches at Kovalam, separated by outcrops jutting out to the sea. The larger one is called Light House Beach for its 30 meter high light house. The second largest one is Hawah Beach. Once you reach Kovalam check in to the hotel. Relax in the hotel for the rest of the day. After settling down set out on sightseeing in Kovalam. Enjoy the sun setting in Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 7

Kovalam to Poovar

After breakfast checkout from Kovalam and proceed to Poovar. Relax in the resort near estuary and the uniqueness of the estuary starts from the natural setting - where a lake, river, sea and beach meet. True to the name in spirit and substance, its a four some island experience is unique to Poovar in Kerala which is enveloped by the most serene backwaters and opening out to the Sea and a dream golden beach enjoy this unique experience for the day that one would cherish in all aspects as a memorable moment in the life .

Day 8

Kovalam to Kanyakumari

After breakfast check out from the resort in Kovalam and proceed to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is famous as the place of union of the three oceans - The Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian ocean as well as for Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Mahatma Gandhi memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Vivekananda was a social reformer and saint of modern India. He is supposed to have meditated on the rock where the memorial stands. Ferry service is available to reach the rock memorial which was built in 1970. Enjoy Kanyakumari, the boat trip to the memorial and the beach during the day and sunset in the evening. Return to the resort at Poovar for the overnight stay.

Day 9

Kovalam to Trivandrum

Enjoy the morning at your leisure and proceed for a full day sightseeing from Kovalam to Trivandrum. Thiruvananthapuram literally means Ananthapuri, "the city of Ananthan", the Thiru (Great/Lord) Ananthan's Puram (City). Ananthan is the king of serpents on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu reclines. The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most religious icon of the city. Padmanabha Swamy temple opens at 4pm and darshan is available till 8pm. Pants, Jeans, Bermuda etc are not allowed inside the temple. Gents should wear Dhoti and ladies should wear saree / churidar. Other sightseeing places are Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, the name Kuthiramalika means 'palace of horses' derived from the frieze of 122 wooden horses on the exterior walls. Veli Tourist Village is famous for a waterfront park with a wide range of aqua entertainment facilities like fishponds, wading pools and landscaped garden. Departure.

If you want to change the resorts in this package, one of our trip designers will work with you till you are happy with the package.
