Nehru Trophy 2023 Tour Package (2 Nights)- Overview
Nehru Trophy Boat Race is the most famous of the snake boat races of Indiawhich is named after the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. He visited Alleppey in 1952 and was enthralled by the spectatcular water carnival in which the Snake Boats with 100 to 200 oarsmen plough the waters to the tune the folk songs. and once he returned he instituted the Nehru Trophy.
66th Nehru Trophy Boat Race 2023 will be held on 12th August, 2023
Nehru Trophy supports the sense of fraternity among the people in Kerala and is a popular spectacle for the tourists from all over the world and usually it is held on seond saturday of August every year. This year the boat race got shifted because of the floods in Kerala.

Nehru Trophy Boat Race is preceded by the colourful boat pageantry, which precedes the boat race, is a marvelous treat to the onlookers. The team that wins Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race gets the Nehru Trophy replica of a snake-boat in silver, placed on wooden abacus on which words of Panditji are inscribed above his signature.

Day 1
Kochi Airport to Alleppey Resort
When you reach Kochi Airport, you will be met by our representative and we will proceed to luxury resort in Alleppey. Located on the banks of backwaters of Kerala landscaped grounds, the resort offers spellbinding encounters with nature. Relish a psychedelic sunset on a montage of clouds, or the flying flurry of evening birds, or just relax and enjoy the cool afternoon breeze.

Day 2
Watch Nehru Trophy Boat Race in Alleppey
After breakfast spend some leisure time in resort and proceed to Alleppey Nehru trophy Finishing Point. Enjoy the scenes in a Kerala country side in the drive towards Alleppey.

We specialise in Customised holiday packages in Kerala and we will be able to offer you any resort in Kerala as we have direct relationshops with most resorts. If you want to change the resorts in this package, one of our trip designers will work with you till you are happy with the package. Our Trip Designers will be also able to tell you the highlights of each resort and you can decide on whether you woud like to book the same resort

When you book a holiday with hotels and taxi together with us we will be able to offer you much lower rates than what you will get directly. As we use carefully handicked drivers who can offer the quality that we ideally want, we dont offer taxi only booking services.
