Jungle Camp in Thekkady

How is the jungle camp in Thekkady? What all does it include?

Answered by Niranjana(Travel Advisor), March 13, 2021

Adventure seekers can enjoy a thrilling jungle camp at Thekkady. You can opt for the night camp programme of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and experience the dense forest around. The programme offers comfortable tents for visitors in the middle of evergreen dense forests. The camping takes place in the midst of Cardamom Hills and Pandalam Hills; where one can experience trekking and even taste the tribal cuisine prepared by the local tribe (Urali). You can even get to interact with the local tribal people and get to spot some rare species of wildlife.

What is the difference between Premium and Deluxe Houseboats?

The rates quoted by Premium and Deluxe Houseboats is very different in Kerala. What is the difference between Premium and Deluxe Houseboats

Answered by Niranjana(Travel Advisor), March 5, 2021

There are multiple differences with respect to interiors and service. Premium house boats is similar to 4 star resorts and will be having better interiors and furnishing, food menu with more options and cruise time will be slightly more. However deluxe houseboat will be similar to 3 star resorts and will have standard interiors and furnishing. In deluxe house boats, AC will be usually operated only at night from 9 PM to 6 AM , whereas in premium houseboats AC will be operated for 24 hours . The cost difference is there , however if you are not on a show string budget, then we recommend premium houseboats
