Kalashmala is also called Narimada Kunnu or Kallazhy Kunnu, was a green hilltop in Kunnamkulam. Today it is an eco-tourism centre and is designated as one of the biodiversity sites in Kerala. Kalashmala has a sacred grove. Major attractions at Kashmala include a large children’s park, rainwater harvesting pond, and beautiful herb gardens. Visitors can rest and admire the view at the small sheltered spots across the biodiversity park.

If you walk to Narimada, you can visit the ancient caves that date back to the stone age. The tiny cave is large enough for one adult to stand in.

You can find the umbrella stones and capstones rock formations around the area. Devotees throng to the temple on the hill. Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu are worshipped at the temple grove. The temple grove is spread over 3.5 acres and is home to some endangered trees

Hello Richa, Alcohol is not served in houseboat. However you can get it from the givernment approved shops for your personal consumption on the way and consume in the houseboat
