Iris had planned everything perfectly; the hotels were great, as were the experiences they planned. The tea plantation around Munnar was beautiful. We enjoyed hiking at the national park, and the tea factory and museum were interesting. It was nice watching the sunsets over the mountains. We had a wonderful experience with our driver, Babu. He was knowledgeable, kind, and thoughtful, and we would enthusiastically recommend Irisholidays Travel and our driver in particular.

In general it was an enjoyable experience.Iris Holidays staff was friendly and prompt in their responses and handling of enquirt and replies to all queries exceeded our expectations.Itinerary well organised and it was really worth coming to the back waters of kerala. We would specially like to Thank Sheebu , the chef on the houseboat for the tasty food he prepared and baburaj our driver of the tour for all the help he gave us .

Thank you Iris Holidays for organising the best holiday for me!! 2wks in Kerala as a solo female traveller from Scotland. I visited Munnar, Thekkady, Backwaters, Alleppey House Boat and Marari Beach. Everything was perfectly organised and I felt 100% safe 100% of the time. Iris had also organised a booking agent to meet me in Thekkady to assist with all my activities there, without him I would not have accomplished near as much with my time. During my holiday I had Whatsapp messages from Arun my Iris tour manager asking if everything was ok, if I needed anything and wishing me well each time for the next stop in my trip. Arun was my only contact, which was great for consistency, who was always available to message on Whatsapp before and during my trip. The booking process was seamless and Arun made a bespoke itinerary with my preferences. For the duration of my trip I had a personal driver called Afsal, he was excellent, friendly, informative, safe driver, great English, comfortable car, he took me to so many places and took great care of me. I had no problems the whole holiday, all the hotel bookings were fine etc. I highly recommend booking Iris Holidays for visiting Kerala, Arun was brilliant to deal with and also Afsal the driver I highly recommend. Kerala is so beautiful with so much to do and see and the natural beauty and wildlife was breath-taking, and the food was delicious.

Had an amazing experience with Iris Holidays. Took a tour that included Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and was very impressed with the breadth of experiences offered. From the planning through to the trip itself, everything was seamless and a great experience. Jomon especially was an excellent driver with great recommendations.

Just finished a 3n/4d tour in Kerala - two nights in Munnar, a night on the houseboat and finished with some sightseeing in lovely Fort Kochi.
The best thing about this tour with Iris holidays is that it is fully customisable to what you want to do - we expressed interest in exploring the nature of Munnar and the tea plantations by doing a hike and our amazing and very kind driver Monesh organised one of his friends to take us on a fabulous trek in the plantations. We also really enjoyed the scenery of the houseboat and I was able to choose one of several offered by Iris meaning we got a more traditional one.

This was a postponed pre covid trip and over the last 24mths George Joseph made multiple amends to our itinerary- he displayed limitless patience! Our trip was fabulous - the whole of our time was seamless and we loved the variety our 15 days in Kerala offered

Our trip was made effortless thanks to Shijoh, our driver. His polite and friendly manner through your our trip was lovely. He was always there when we needed him and happy to help with any of our requests.

We loved all our hotels. The only blip on our trip was the houseboat backwaters overnight trip - our houseboat was moored a long way from the backwaters , consequently we spent too much time on the lake - and not enough time on the backwaters. After only 30mins on the backwaters our boat was heading back to the lake! We managed to change the itinerary which was to moor for the night back on the lake and remain on the backwaters.

Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Iris holidays ,George and Shijo were both 5star.

I recently visited Kerala with my cousin. I contacted few travel agency but i finally opted for Iris Holidays. The tour was very well planned by Shiji.

Though we were only 2 ladies there was no question of insecurity. Hotels were very good and we really enjoyed the houseboat stay at Allepey which was of high luxury. Our stay was really awesome but it would be advisable to stay at least 2 nights in each place.

I would like to express my gratitude to our cab driver Akash, who was really helpful, well mannered and had a good knowledge of the places to visit. Akash made our trip a memorable one. Thank you once again Akash. On the whole our trip was wonderful and waiting to visit Kerala again, of course by contacting Irish Holidays
