The Cochin International Airport is the nearest airport to Vagamon approximately 170 kilometers from the city. People can easily take a bus or hire a cab to reach the city of Vagamon from here.
By Train
The nearest railway station to Vagamon is Kuttikanam which is 22 km away from the hill station. Kottayam is another neighboring station to Vagamon and is just 64 km away. Madurai station is located 149 km away from Vagamon. Road connectivity from these stations to Vagamon is quite good.
By Bus
Road journeys are the most budget-friendly way to reach Vagamon Kerala. Though Vagamon is located at an altitude of 1,100 m above sea level, it is well-connected by road to the closest town Erattupetta. The road connecting Erattupetta is a state highway and makes accessibility to the city easy.

Hello Richa, Alcohol is not served in houseboat. However you can get it from the givernment approved shops for your personal consumption on the way and consume in the houseboat
