Vazhanchal Falls is a must-visit destination in your itinerary. Vazhanchal Falls is 60 km from the city and 5 km from Athirapilly Falls. You require a special permit from the Kerala Forest check post to visit the fall. A ticket to Athirapilly Fall should be enough.

Located at the end of Sholyar ranges, the Vazhanchal Fall courses through the dense forest. At 390 feet, the Vanzhnachal Fall is awe-inspiring. The area surrounding the fall is tranquil and is the perfect picnic spot. Be careful while wading as the rocks can be slippery.

Vazhanchal Falls area is a bird watcher's paradise. They can spot a variety of birds, including endangered species. Try to visit the falls in the monsoon the flow of water becomes more intense.

Hello Richa, Alcohol is not served in houseboat. However you can get it from the givernment approved shops for your personal consumption on the way and consume in the houseboat
