Bolghatty Palace is the erstwhile Governor's Palace for the Dutch which was later leased out to the British in 1909. Bolghatty Palace had served as the home of the British Governors and the seat of the British Resident of Cochin during the British regime in India. In 1947, when India got her independence, the palace became the property of the state and was later converted into a heritage hotel.

The Kochi International Marina is situated here. It is the only marina of its type in India and can host up to 34 yachts, electricity, and sewage pump-out facilities over its waters. The Bolgatty Event Center is renowned for hosting a large number of international conferences, conventions, exhibitions, and wedding ceremonies.
