Kerala Family Adventure (9 Nights)- Itinerary
Day 1
Houseboat stay in Kumarakom
Start off your tropical experience with a friendly welcome by our representative who will meet you at Kochi Airport before making your way to Kumarakom. The two-hour scenic ride is a relaxing one that allows you to capture the surrounding landscape before reaching your houseboat style hotel where you will spend your first night. The bout will take you on a backwater cruise where you can lookout at the locals at the tropical setting of towering coconut trees and quaint homes of the local communities. Dinner, lunch and a delicious breakfast will be served during your stay.

Day 2
Relax in Kumarakom
After waking-up to the beautiful sunrise perching through the crisp clear water, you will be served a scrumptious breakfast before checking out and making your way on a roadtrip to a resort still located within Kumarakom. The resort is centered around Vembanad Lake, where you will find rows of mangrove and coconut trees as well as an abundance of houseboats in the area. This is the perfect opportunity for you to enjoy some downtime, taking in the natural beauty.

Day 3
Munnar Journey
After enjoying two days in the tropical paradise of Kumarakom, we now make our way to the impressive unspoilt mountain region of Munnar. Munnar is known for being home to its spice plantations and a favourite amongst honeymooners. Whilst here get the opportunity to explore the area or use this as the opportunity to just immerse yourself in the natural greenery of this area.

Day 4
Explore Munnar
Munnar is known among the outdoor enthusiasts who love to explore the beauty of mountainous region. The surrounding hills and the fabulous bending roads of Munnar are worth a visit. Though, it is not advisable to drive on such a road, if one is not professional. One can enjoy boating and horse riding in the Mattupetty of Munnar, a famous picnic spot. This hilly paradise is a perfect place for tea or coffee lovers. The fresh aroma of surrounding sprawling tea or coffee plantations is mesmerizing. Visit the Munnar Tea Museum, perfect if you love tea; and Rose Garden, to spend a relaxing time. Other attractions of the place include Mattupetty Lake and Echo Point.

Day 5
Shop in the Colourful Madurai
After breakfast; depart from Munnar and make your way to the city of Maduari. This ancient, bright and colourful city boasts a skyline of 14 gateway towers of Meenakshi Amman Temple. You will have the opportunity to go on a shopping excursion and experience the vibrant history of the city before making your way back to your hotel in Maduari.

Day 6
Visit Holy sites in Rameshwaram
After spending the night in Maduari your journey will proceed to Rameshwaram. You will be taken to your hotel for check-in followed by a sightseeing excursion that takes you through the unspoilt quiet and Holy town. Visit the Sri Ramanathaswamy temple featuring 22 holy springs which are known to have healing properties followed by a stop at Hanuman Temple. After a day of enjoying a spiritual experience, you will make your way back to your five-star hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7
Sightseeing in Rameshwaram
Wake-up to the peace and serenity that the town of Rameshwaram has to offer. You will be served a mouth-watering breakfast before we journey on a five-hour road-trip to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari owes its fame four housing some iconic sites that sees visitors coming to capture the Thiruvalluvar Statue and visit the Padmanabhapuram Palace which is an architectural masterpiece that boast murals, floral carvings and black granite floors. You will also have an opportunity to visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Mahatma Gandhi memorial before heading back to the hotel.

Day 8
Journey to Kovalam
After check-out travel to the seaside town of Kovalam. This tourist paradise boasts pristine beaches and plenty sightseeing spots that includes curio shops and street-side hawkers selling a variety of Kashmir and Tibetan products. Upon arrival you will check into your comfortable deluxe sea-facing room for an overnight stay

Day 9
Beach Escape at Kovalam
After breakfast make your way to the main city area for a sightseeing experience. Koyalam beach boasts its fabulously built lighthouse. The beach was a popular destination during the time of hippie era. The famous beaches of Koyalam; Hawah beach and Lighthouse beach, are waiting for you!

Day 10
Kochi Sightseeing and Departure
After breakfast you proceed to check-out of the resort in Kovalam and start making your way to the historical town of Kochi. The town of Kochi has managed to preserve its heritage through the upkeep of the colonial-style architecture with houses representing the Dutch, Portuguese and British colonies. Enjoy the freedom to explore the eateries, Chinese fishing nets and the spice market for some last-minute gifts before making your way to Kochi Airport for departure.

We specialise in Customised holiday packages in Kerala and we will be able to offer you any resort in Kerala as we have direct relationshops with most resorts. If you want to change the resorts in this package, one of our trip designers will work with you till you are happy with the package.
