Day 1
Trivandrum Airport and Kovalam Sightseeing
This small coastal town is famous for its palm-backed beaches, lighthouse and fishing harbour, as well as a flourishing Ayurveda and yoga scene.
Once you arrive at the airport, you'll be taken directly to Kovalam, where you can check in early at your hotel (depending on availability) and get refreshed from your jet lag. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the three beautiful beaches of Kovalam and visit the lighthouse for a stunning sunset view.
Take in the dramatic cliff-edge views of secluded beaches while enjoying a relaxing, luxurious stay at the Niraamaya Retreats. With Ayurveda services, traditional Kerala cottages, a picturesque swimming pool and multi-cuisine restaurants all surrounded by lush coconut palms, what better way to enjoy the coastline?

Thiruvananthapuram is the most populous city in Kerala and is an energetic town with lot of sights, sounds, and foods for the interested guests. Enjoy the sightseeing in Thiruvananthapuram including temple of Ananthan, 122 wooden horses Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, and Shangumugham Beach and Veli Tourist Village

Departure from Kovalam and Arrival in Alleppey
Popularly compared to be the “Venice of the East”, Alleppey is home to serene backwater rivers and calm canals.
Make your way to Alleppey to enjoy the serene houseboat day cruise with Spice Route Houseboats. Lunch and snacks will be provided as you experience the calmness while gliding along the backwaters of Alleppey and witness the utter beauty of green paddy fields which are known for below sea level cultivation, the view of the simple country side homes and swaying coconut palms. Get back to the resort in Alleppey with our assistance.

Departure from Alleppey and Arrival in Kochi
Formerly known as Cochin, this city is prized as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. Due to its ideal location, Kochi was one of the first European settlements in India and quickly became a nexus of international trade.
Visit Fort Kochi, which is home to 39 different communities from all around India. All these communities live harmoniously in 5 sq.km area around Mattancherry. Admire the colonial history still living in the houses built by Dutch, British, Portugese and Indian communities. Soak in the evening ambience at the luxury Hotel, with its scenic views of the backwaters of Kochi and the city’s beautiful harbour, before enjoying a sunset cruise and dinner at the fine rooftop restaurant.

Departure from Kochi and Arrival in Guruvayoor
Guruvayoor is the most popular Hindu pilgrimage site in Kerala, and even in India, thanks to its many historical temples and religious sites.
Arrive in Guruvayoor and take in the local sights and sounds, including the prominent Guruvayoor Temple.
Profit from the prime location of the Hotel Guruvayoor Gateway: located close to the main Guruvayoor temple, the hotel itself is home to the Sree Krishna temple, also known as the Dwaraka of the South.

Departure from Guruvayoor and Arrival in Palakkad
Palakkad is a historical city known as the Gateway to Kerala, with an 18th century fort and associated temple. It’s also home to the famous Ratholsavam Chariot Festival.
Arrive in Palakkad and wonder around Malampuzha dam and rock garden designed from recycled materials before exploring Silent Valley National Park. Overnight at your family house.

Palakkad Sightseeing
Spend the day taking in the wonders of Nelliyampathi, a virgin hill station home to rich rainforests and plenty of wildlife, from elephants, to squirrels, deers and bison in the Paramabikulam Wildlife Sanctuary. At 467m above sea level, Nelliyampathi offers stunning views of sprawling tea gardens, and coffee, cardamom and orange plantations, laced with numerous little waterfalls, streams and rocky hills.

Departure from Palakkad and Arrival in Ooty
Ooty is a scenic hill station dotted around the artificial Ooty Lake, a centre for pleasure-boating and trekking.
Enjoy the drive to Ooty and a leisurely evening in this beautiful town. Stop at Coimbatore and Bhavani River on the way.

Ooty Sightseeing
Spend the day admiring Ooty’s traditional beauty. Start your day early with a 7.30am toy train ride from Mettupalayam (tickets can be purchased from the station), and then relax in the picturesque Rose Garden and Botanical Gardens. The more adventurous can opt to trek to Doddabetta peak. Otherwise, Wax World, the deer park and the Tea Museum offer plenty to keep you entertained and busy! Take in the beautiful sunset between the palms before heading back to your Bed and Breakfast.

Departure from Ooty and Arrival in Coimbatore
Located on the banks of the Noyyal River, Coimbatore is a busy business junction town, with a cosmopolitan dining scene and plenty of overnight options.
Take in the beauty of Coimbatore as you wander around Marudhamalai, the Ancient Industrial Artifact Museum and the Gandhipuram centre. Make sure to visit the stunning Siruvani Waterfalls while you are here! Overnight at your family accommodation.
