Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station lies just 9 km from Shangumugham Beach and has plenty of cabs and auto rickshaws along with a regular KSRTC bus service to get you to the beach.

The train station is connected to all the major cities and towns in India and takes you through charming landscapes en route to Trivandrum.
