Relax in the morning and then head towards the capital of Kerala called “Trivandrum” for a full-day tour. Trivandrum which is mainly called Thiruvananthapuram by the locals has got its name from the King of serpents, the famous Ananthan. The famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple of the city represents the religious importance of the deity “Anantha”, on whose name the city has been named. The temple is open from 4 o'clock in the afternoon till 8 o'clock at night. It follows a strict dress code for its visitors, which instructs the males to wear Dhoti and the females must wear Saree or Churidar. Trivandrum is famous for its Kuthiramalika Palace Museum which means the “palace of horses”. Visit “Veli Tourist Village” to enjoy varieties of aqua entertainment in the waterfront park. Beach lovers can go to Shangumugham Beach of the city. Return to Kovalam and spend the night in the hotel.
