Job Responsibilities

* Liaising with travel partners including hotels and houseboats to manage bookings and schedules for guest enquiries
* Promptly dealing with customer enquiries with an aim to meet and exceed their expectations
* Building professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
* Mentoring and coaching peer team members for collective performance improvement.
* Managing relationships with the Airlines /Foreign Agents /Hotels /Guides/ Transport partners and all stake holders for a tour package.
* Responsible for planning, organizing daily itinerary for the tours based on the guest requirements.
* Promoting and marketing the company in events and seminars.
* Preparing Status reports (Daily and weekly) to update senior management.
* Following up with customers during the tour and collecting their feedback about the experience.


Desired Candidate Profile

* Excellent command of spoken and written English
* Graduate with basic awareness about tourism/ hospitality industry
* Excellent computer skills and proficiency in excel, word, outlook and power point
* Commitment to internal and external customer satisfaction
* Proactive, self-Starter and Team Player
* Able to manage multiple tasks with deftness and attention to deadlines
* Effective Time Management skills
* Display efficient organizational skills
* Establish and Maintain strong Interpersonal Relationships
* Must have both the operation skills and technical knowledge to make customer pitches in a honest and ethical way.

We are looking for tourist guides who have completed the certificate course of KITTS, the Travel and Tourism Institute under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Kerala all across Kerala.Positions are available on Part time basis if you are at least 18 years of age. As a tour guide you could find yourself working in any number of places in Kerala. Tours are typically offered in areas according to guest request depending upon the season. We offer both year-round and seasonal guide job opportunities. For instance, you need to take guests fro tea plantation trips in Munnar, then trekking trips in Thekkady, and finish the trip with an overview of historic places in Fort Kochi.

Desired Candidate Profile

* Ability to speak in at least two languages. We expect fluency in English, Hindi or other foreign lanuguage
* Attention to detail, punctuality, flexibility, initiative, patience, and professionalism
* Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills with a great sense of humor.
* Personable and engaging with the ability to memorize and craft large amounts of facts and information.
* Weave information into stories with cohesive and memorable experiences for tour participants.

We are planning to introduce bicycle tours in Kerala soon and are looking for passionate trained bicyclers who love cycling and outdoor activities on a part time basis. You will lead a team of 7 people and cycle from one tourist destination in Kerala to another for a group of cyclists. As a trip Leader you will work with Iris Holidays to design the complete experience of each bicyle tour . If you have a passion for outdoor activities and the willingness to lead others, you will be an ideal person to lead this trip. Prior experience in bicycle tours is advantageous but not mandatory.

Please note that our trips run mainly on weekends and this is a part-time position giving you full liberty to focus on your mainstream career combining with the charm of leading your own trips on weekends.
